Following extensive 22-day military invasion of the Gaza Strip by Israel, which started on December 27, 2008, and ended on January 16, 2009, the United Nations Security Council failed to make an effective decision to condemn and stop the military invasion against the blockaded Palestinian enclave. The direct consequence of the Security Council’s inaction was the killing of 1,444 defenseless people of Gaza. Of course, the Security Council adopted Resolution 1860 on January 8, 2009, and two weeks after the beginning of Israel’s military invasion of Gaza, which was passed with the United States’ abstention. However, that resolution only touched on the need for a cease-fire to be established and withdrawal of Israel’s military forces from Gaza, opening of a corridor for humanitarian aid to reach the people of Gaza and similar issues. The resolution, however, largely failed to meet the main demands of the Palestinian resistance movement. Nonetheless, in Article 1 of the same resolution, the Security Council had pointed to resolutions 242 (1967), 1338 (1973), 1397 (2002), 1515 (2003), and 1850 (2008) in which it had specified that the Gaza Strip is an indispensable part of the Palestinian lands, which have been occupied by Israel since 1967, and is also part and parcel of territories governed by the Palestinian government. What follows gives a list of noteworthy highlights on various invasions of the Gaza Strip by the Israeli forces and unjustifiable inaction of the UN Security Council and its secretary general in the face of Israel’s acts of aggression.
1. Committing war crimes
Various military operations conducted by the Israeli forces against the Gaza Strip have not been merely military operations in true sense of the word. This is true because the main goal achieved by the Israeli forces through these savage operations has been nothing but blind bombardment of houses of people in Gaza and the subsequent massacre of children and women and other civilians, which clearly amounts to war crimes. A recap of casualties caused by various bouts of Israel’s military invasions against the Gaza Strip will reveal that:
- About 600-700 civilians in Gaza were killed in the bombardment of the UN relief office on January 15, 2009;
- More than 120 people of Gaza have been killed in an Israeli attack on Shejaiya neighborhood during the new onslaught of Israel against the Gaza Strip from January 21, 2014, up to the present day;
- A total of 70 people have been killed in an attack on Al-Aqsa Hospital
- At least, 16 Palestinians, including 7 children, have been killed and 150 have been injured when Israel laid siege on and then bombarded a UN-run school in Beit Hanoun;
- More than 5,510 residential units have been destroyed in recent attacks by Israeli military up to August 4, 2014, as a result of which 1,824 Palestinians, including 296 children, have been killed and 9,400 others have been injured.
2- Palestinians’ right to resist
- According to Article 2 of the French Declaration of Human and Civic Rights of August 26, 1789, people all around the world have “…natural and imprescriptible rights…. These rights are Liberty, Property, Safety and Resistance to Oppression.”
- Also, Article 51 of the Charter of the United Nations has clearly specified that “Nothing in the present Charter shall impair the inherent right of individual or collective self-defense if an armed attack occurs against a Member of the United Nations.” Therefore, the inhabitants of Palestine can take advantage of their inherent right to defend themselves and continue their resistance in order to put an end to the occupation of their lands and can also use any method deemed appropriate in order to enforce their right for pushing the occupiers out of their territories. On the opposite, however, Israel argues that it has also the right to defend itself against the military operations of Palestinian forces, though its claim to self-defense lacks legal legitimacy.

Edward Magee, a spokesman for the St. Louis County prosecutor’s office, said the case could be presented this week to a grand jury, which will decide whether Wilson will be indicted.
Thousands of demonstrators, angry that the police officer was not arrested, have filled the streets. Most if the town’s 21,000 residents are black, with many saying the shooting was emblematic of police excesses, a charge authorities deny.
The National Bar Association, the country’s largest network of black attorneys and judges, filed a lawsuit on Monday against Ferguson and its police department over evidence related to Brown’s shooting.
The suit asks the department to preserve all videos, photographs, police logs and investigative reports about the shooting, as well as arrest reports for protesters who were detained in the days and nights that followed.
Looting has left several stores in shambles, with police saying they have been attacked with Molotov cocktails.
Law enforcement officials have been widely criticized for using excessive force.
Two children were treated and released from a hospital for injuries caused on Sunday night by tear gas exposure, the St Louis Children’s Hospital said.
U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon urged U.S. authorities to protect protesters’ rights to peaceful assembly.

Spike Lee doesn’t give a dime to this narrative. He said « just like that, a week later, a woman gave a phone call to a radio station to tell her story » which happened to corroborate that of the officer incriminated. Where was she before to speak out ? What is for sure is the rhe reconstitution of the scene of crime will tell it all.
For the second black man killed, Spike Lee said that « there is a war against the black man in America ». Spike Lee was present at Ferguson to bring his support to the black cause.
ANOTHER BLACK MAN SHOOTED
Far from apeasing, things are even worsening. CNN is alerting, « A police officer was involved in a shooting in St. Louis on Tuesday, a city fire captain said. One person is dead. St. Louis Police Chief Sam Dotson confirmed in a tweet that an officer-involved shooting occurred and said no officer was injured.
The shooting is about three miles from Ferguson, the site of multiple protests in the wake of the officer-involved shooting death of 18-year-old Michael Brown on Aug. 9″.
WHERE IS THE PROMISE OF CHANGE IN AMERICA ?
Judging by the recitation of the lesson « Israel is the victim » and the « Hamas the attacker », issued by America, the Israeli Wall Street funded state, America’s monstruous DEBT is taking away the freedoms of its citizens along with the Constitutionnal Rights.
But we now how to cut the Big Trees down in America and inside the Congress. Ferguson’s events are kind of percusors signs for those who have eyes to see. Wall Street’s Occupiers are helping their brothers at Ferguson to organize in front of a brutal Israeli style like pounding Gaza’s police. Isn’t it a sign of a dawn of this post-nazism civilisation led by Israeli psychology and racket mentality.
FERGUSON SHOULD AWAIT NOTHING FROM A PRESIDENT UNDER SUCH AN INFLUENCE.
That Obama can cope with this is an infamy and a treason of His Promise of Change who earned Him the American presidency. If He leaves the Office without fixing this Israeli murdering scheme, then his presidency and legacy will be zero. « 18 years are needed today, if the cease fire holds – it is just a supposition – to rebuild Gaza, after the storming of Israel », a Human Rights invitee told CNN. If Gaza shellings resumed, as it is going to be the case, how long will it take to rebuilt ? Nobody can tell. The natural conclusion coming in mind for any normal, loving, solidary, generous, responsible and farsighting person is to let Gaza live a normal life and take care for its own destiny.
Take a look at this : Obama Oversees Brazen Paris Convoy Attack Against Saudi Prince. (The total collapse) – Info or false rumors ?
Obama or Israeli, the two are twins.
A new report by the Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) circulating in the Kremlin today states that President Barack Obama “ordered and personally oversaw” from the White House a brazen attack conducted by US Special Warfare Development Group (DEVGRU) commandos against an 11 vehicle Saudi Arabian convoy last night nearing Porte de la Chapelle in northern Paris as it was heading for Le Bourget airport after leaving the Saudi Embassy.
According to this report, and as confirmed by various media sources, the attacked convoy was protecting an as yet unnamed Saudi prince who was briefly detained by these highly-trained DEVGRU commandos, and who were able to not only conduct their mission without firing a shot, but were also able to secure the “sensitive documents” they were after.
A French police source talking to the AFP news agency about this US commando attack further stated “It’s quite an unusual attack. They were obviously well-informed. It’s true that it’s quite a rare way of operating,” and said that “If they were looking for sensitive documents, that changes the nature of the crime. It will no longer be an armed robbery, but something more complicated.”
