So the NRA is holding a three-days convention themed « Stand and Fight » in a friendly place : Texas, the last cow-boy and Yankee state bowing down on its knees in total odoration to their Supreme Master and Savior: Guns and Arms. In the name of the Second Amendment that allows the right to keep and bear arms, they say. Fake propaganda: using the Second Amendment as a shelter to « Stand and Fight » the extension of Background Checks is something American people are now distant from. Proof of it is the dramatic fallout of negative polls hitting GOP senators nationally, on the exception of those keen enough to vote for gun’s control checks extension.
Apparently, the NRA is trying to distract the people from the issue. Worst, the gun’s association is staging a real face-to-face confrontation ; kind of mocquery of the president and the administration. Here is a reminder to the NRA : who laughs first, laughs last. GOP-NRA senators facing an election should be dropped out of the bus. The filibuster-in-Chief, senator Mitch McConnell first and if only one senator had to be thrown out of the senate’s floor, then Senator Mc Connell is the Man to shoot down, the NRA’s way.
Just think at the latest developments concerning the Boston Bombings : Bombs were homemade. Serious Background checks would have put the bombers into a special watch list and probably avoid the Boston bombings, killings and legs-amputees.
McCain is out there to criticize the failure of the Bill he had made nothing to stop defeating in the first place. The president got emotional, this is McCain credo : is he laughing or not ? If you’re a naive, you’ll interprete it as a compassionate sign. If you are not, you can easily draw the line of a politician’s crocodile tears very happy in private of the dropped issue and showing publicly fake signs of desolation and compromise.
McCain, Mitch McConnell, NRA more of the same. The fight is not over. Shame on the NRA-GOP dangerous political game.
The good news is the American economy has added 165,000 jobs this month. Without the GOP-NRA Sequester, the economy should be doing more. This shows life continues, despite the NRA-GOP’s senators protecting potential mass murderers and shootings spree.
